If you decide to host your domain names with us and you choose any of our cloud hosting, you’ll be able to activate spam filtering for any mailbox that you create. With a few clicks of the mouse in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel, you can set up 5 separate protection levels. If you continue to receive unsolicited bulk messages or the filters start preventing legitimate email messages from entering your mailbox, you can switch to some other level just as easily. The efficiency of our spam protection service is ensured by one of the most famous email filters – SpamAssassin. In case you do not want to risk skipping a genuine message that may be classified as spam due to its content, you can also configure custom email filters based on the body, the sender or the subject of the message and forward the emails to a different email account where you can review them at a later point in time.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you take advantage of one of our semi-dedicated servers, you won’t need to worry about unsolicited bulk messages occupying your mailboxes every once in a while, as you can resort to the popular SpamAssassin email filter that we offer with every semi-dedicated hosting account. Our in-house created Hepsia hosting Control Panel will allow you to activate the filter for any mailbox with several mouse clicks and you can pick one of the 5 protection levels – from very high to very low. The level can be changed at any time if, for instance, genuine emails get blocked, or if unsolicited bulk emails go through and appear in your Inbox folder. To take no chances, you can choose all filtered email messages to be forwarded to a special email account like spam@your-domain.com and not to be deleted. In this way, you can check them from time to time to make sure that you have not missed a legitimate email.
